Your Website Account
All Moose 2049 members and guests are given a login account on the website
with a default password that has an expiration date.
Your login will be your first name and last name all in lower
case separated by a period (no spaces).
All member/guest records have a first name (which is the legal record on your drivers license)
and a nickname, the name you like to be called. The full name and the login both use
the nickname, so if your legal name is Deborah Jones but your nickname is Debbie
then your full name will be listed as Debbie Jones and your login will be
debbie.jones.
Password Management
You can login using your account login (not your email)
and your password. If you don't remember your password
or if it has expired, it is easy to update/reset it.
You can:
- If your correct email is on file, go to the Login page of the website and click on the
Forgot My Password and follow the
directions to get a reset link via email.
- Otherwise, fill out a
Feedback and we will get you setup in short order.

And Now That I am Logged In
Once you have logged in, you will see a summary What do you want to do now in a box
with shortcuts fo the common things you may need to do.
You will see many functional option links in the top
navigation banner at the top and bottom of each page. The list of actions in the
navigation bars changes based on your role and access permission setting, but generally
most users will see most of the following:
| Add User | Where you can add a guest to the website. (Please use the Who lookup utility first to confirm they are not already present.) |
| Attensocial | Where you sign up for a table and entree for a social event. This section also shows who is coming to a social event. |
| Event Calendar | List dates, brochures, photos for social events. |
| FAQ | Frequently asked questions and status updates. |
| Feedback | Form for getting help, asking questions of the board. |
| My Info | Updating your contact information for the directory. |
| My Preferences | Update your wishes about being on mailing list, receiving newsletters, sharing contact info. |
| Who | Look up information about members, guests, and staff. |
| Roles | Who is doing what in service to the club, including the board of directors. |
| Surveys | Current and past surveys. |
| Table Reservations | After registering for a social, you can see who is sitting where and change your table seating. |
Each of the links takes you to a page where you can query and list information about the club
and our events, and sometimes update information about you.
Remember that this is all to make being a member of the club more fun (and allow
those tireless volunteers to spend more time dancing and less time doing admin work)
and to enhance getting
to know, enjoy, and ease the things we like to do most: get together, socialize, and social.
