The Attensocial web page has three actions to
register for a social events, and several
reports (for the board) to provide information on who has or has not registered,
who is sitting where, etc.
Member Actions
The first row of buttons under the query form that lists the social events
has four buttons. Each acts on the Dance Event listed in the query form.
These buttons facilitates members registering themselves,
and any guest couples for events. This process also enables selecting
the the table for an event.
- Register: Register the member couple. For Member with Partner members,
your social partner must be in the web directory prior to registering. You can use the
Add User function (see navbar link) to add them.
- Register My Guest Couple: After you have registered, you can register a
guest couple.
Both members of your guest couple must be in the web database prior to registering. You can use the
Add User function (see purple navbar link) to add them.
- We Are Not Going: You are not going.
Reports
Visible to the board of directors,
once registration has started, a second row of buttons allows
reports of how many have registered (or not)
These provides real time ability to see who is registered and where they are seated.
And, most importantly for the social coordinator and planning staff,
provides a real time report for how many dinners
to give to the caterer so the meal planning of the event goes smoothly.
- Signed Up: Lists all those members and guests who have registered.
- Not Yet Signed Up: Member couples who have not yet signed up or registered as We Are Not Going.
- Food Report: Meal count for caterer.
- List: List all social events.
- List Future: List only future social events.
